We came to play today!!! Devin set the game off by smashing a triple to lead off the game. We would go on and score 3 times in the first capped off with Ronnie driving in the 3rd run with a big 2-out base-hit. In the 3rd inning we piled on 5 more runs to really take control of the game. The fireworks began with 2 outs and no one on base. Nick walked Devin singled Mike T walked and Mike M smashed a grand-slam. Danny then followed by blasting a triple and Tyler drove him home with a base-hit. Mike M, Nick and Danny cruised on the mound and we walked away with a comfortable 9-2 victory. Two in a row!!! Great game boys!!! Our Stars of the game were:
Ronnie......1 for 2 and a two-out RBI
Nick.....1 for 1, 2 runs scored and pitched 2 good innings striking-out 4 batters.
Tyler....1 for 2 and an RBI
Danny....2 for 3, a triple, 2 runs scored and an RBI plus an inning pitched with a strike-out.
Devin....2 for 2, a triple and 2 runs scored...........And the STAR of the game was............
MIKE M......2 for 2, a grand-slam,6 RBI,2 runs scored and pitched 3 excellent shutout innings with 9 strike-outs.......
